new way to style hair

Newcommer Cloud Nine has totally revolutionised the way we think about heated rollers. Remember those things your nana used to use to get a bit of volume? Well from the people who invented the original GHD comes their highest competition - Cloud Nine.

They have a whole range of hot tools but my favourite is TheO. As a stylist I find it particularly annoying using heated rollers. You buy a set and they're all one size or there's never enough and they take forever to heat up, at which point you're likely to burn yourself on them if you're not carrful. With TheO, it seems so simple...it's just a pod that you slot each roller into before you use it. The pod activates the roller within 4 seconds (wow) and then then put it in the hair. The beauty is it heats up from the inside out once it's in the hair so it's impossible to burn yourself putting them in! Also, the exterior is velcro so no need for clips or pins.

Sera Lilly ‘the Sisters of San Salvador’

The runway was clothed in huge white sheets suspended from the ceiling which plummeted to reveal 45 models in perfect pose. Lots of pelts, tactile fabrics and jackets/ponchos, mixed with cocktail dresses and floor-length gowns.

Makeup was dark heavy contour, thick black liner and lots o lash. Lips were red, bright orange or nude.
